IT security encompasses the protection of IT systems and data against attacks. In this context, authenticity, integrity, confidentiality, access protection, availability, bindingness and privacy form different aspects that are of great relevance for the entire information technology. Artificial Intelligence is further increasing security requirements. In the case of large volumes of data, for example, cryptographic processes that guarantee confidentiality or integrity may reach their limits in their standard implementations. Special algorithms that grant efficient encryption or realize hierarchical hash procedures are a possible solution here. Privacy is sometimes deliberately abrogated by AI mechanisms, so it is precisely the realization of methods that regulate and limit this process that is of great importance.
